Philipp Schlotter, Lisa Hoppe and Fred Bürki do agree in musical matters. Neglecting the gloss and glaze of a shiny jazz revival, Me&Mobi try to combine the classic piano-trio with the raw sound of a garage band. No cheap showmanship, just out of the mere love for electronics, equally to the natural sounds of wood and metal. Collective hunger for improvisation. The compositions of Me&Mobi appear to be simple at large, but at a closer look they surprise with interlacing structures. Harsh rhythmic patterns interweave with beautiful melodies. Me&Mobi, an entity which replays what it has soaked up.
